The company has been trading since 1998 and has gain vast experience throughout the near 20 years in the Civil Engineering divisions of the industry, delivery works on time, on budget and above all safely. We have grown with the industry requirements on safety and qualification levels. In 2001 we were contracted to deliver works for Central Networks and have continued through to the present date for Western Power Distribution on Major and small works projects. Within that time, we have developed a roll in which engineers from WPD can work with out teams of highly trained and experienced personnel to deliver contracted works in the set timescales.
Coming up to our 20th year now, we can state that we have had no incidents or cable strikes, this down to correct planning, knowledge and training within the company.
Through from the trainees to the MD, RM BUILDERS thrives on its reputation on safety and follows the ‘Golden Rule’ if your not sure! STOP! And ask. IT WORKS!
Over the last 5 years we have developed and upgraded our management staff with a collective experience time service of over 90 years to perform the roll of principal Contractor within CDM regulations 2007 for WPD with certifications to SSMTS City and Guilds level, we are currently refreshing our IOSH training for the site managers. Our team leaders are now trained, approved and annually CBT checked for their LOAR.
For the labour and trainee staff, they are all Sub Section accessed to Open buzz bar SSAC and SDWP(b). Our trainee staff are encouraged to reach this level with the inclusion of a CSCS card accreditation.
• Our plant operators are CITB authorised.
• All our craftsmen are either City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 approved in their trade of Brickworks, Construction, Carpentry/Joinery etc.
• At management level we are qualified for City & Guilds Master bricklayer to HNC Construction.
• Fully insured the Company can carry out projects of all sizes and have a proven track record of Quality and Safety.
The company is now Achilles Accredited with a 98% onsite score and 97% office score achieved for 2017/18.
